20th July -Essay Competition, twelve students participated. 


31st July- Release of Newsletter 'News & Views'




15th August -Department as well as personal blogs of faculty members were released.

30th August - Card Making competition on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi. Fifteen teams participated.



03rd October - Singing competition was held , eight students participated.



26th January 2020 - Wallpaper on the theme 'Patriotism'


10th February 2020 - Spelling Bee contest was held.14 students participated. 






 15th December 2021: Ms Bakita Naik and Ms Nikita Shirodkar, Assistant Professors of English gave a lecture as resource persons on the topic, "How to write Job Applications" for T.Y.B.com students organised by Counselling Services and Monitoring Committee from 11a.m. to 12 noon.


20th December 2021: Ms Bakita Naik, Asst. Prof. of English delivered a short guest lecture on "What is Literature?" for T.Y.B.A students as part of Goa@60 Week at 1p.m.








08th April 2022: The Department of English  organized a workshop for S.Y.B.A (SEC and AECC) students on Research Writing: Principles and Practice from 12 noon to 2:30 p.m.



02nd to 07th May 2022 - Organized an event "Talent Bonanza." The events conducted were Essay writing, Skit, Blog, Digital Story Telling making, Elocution, Extempore, Poster making, Photography, Poetry Recitation and Video Reporting.






09th May 2022 - Organised a field trip to Goa Chitra Museum, Benaulim and Big Foot , Loutolim for S.Y.B.A SEC and AECC English students.This trip was organised for the purpose of writing a report. Ms. Nikita Shirodkar, Ms Vividha Agarwadekar and Ms Bakita Naik accompanied the students.A total number of _______________ students attended the field trip.


18th May 2022 - Ms. Bakita Naik gave a guest lecture on 'Interviewing Techniques' for T.Y.B.Com students at 12 noon.



20th May 2022 - Dr Lucy James, Ms Nikita Shirodkar and Ms Bakita Naik presented papers for the 2 Day International Conference titled, "Contemporary Discourses - Gender, Ecology and Literature of Protest " organised by the Department of English at Dnyanprassarak Mandal's College and Research Centre, Assagao.



30th May 2022 - Valedictory function of TALENT BONANZA in the seminar hall at 2:00 p.m.
